Professional Actress and Improvisational Performer for Film, Television, Radio and Stage. Based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Janet studied theatre at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri, graduating with a BA in Fine Arts. She began her professional acting career in Atlanta as a star performer at the “Wit's End Cabaret Theater.” Janet worked extensively in Los Angeles for over a decade before returning home to Atlanta.

If you are an actor, it’s time to improve your listening and re-acting techniques with improv. If you’ve been taking classes for the experience, it’s time to experience it again. If you have never done comedy improv, welcome aboard for the time of your life.
Join veteran director and improv actor Janet Wells beginning on Saturday at 2pm-4pm, on March 7, 2026. It will be a 6 week class skipping Easter weekend, and ending on April 18.
The cost is $300 for all 6 classes, tons of laughter included, as well as a guest long-form teacher who trained and performed with 2nd City in Chicago.
